DMART ENTERS HIGH-VALUE CLUB
Avenue Supermarts' market capitalization crossed
the Rs. 1.4 lac crore mark as the shares surged past Rs. 2270 mark intraday,
entering the top 20 most valued Indian companies' club. The value retail
chain's market cap has now surpassed Nifty heavyweights like Titan, Wipro,
Ultratech and state-run ONGC.
DMart is now the fifth most valuable consumption stock, lagging behind HUL,
ITC, Asian Paints & Nestle.
