பி.எப்., வட்டிவிகிதம் 8.5% ஆக குறைப்பு மத்திய அரசு!!!

புதுடில்லி: பி.எப்., எனப்படும் தொழிலாளர்களுக்கான வருங்கால வைப்பு நிதிக்கான வட்டி விகிதம் 8.5 சதவீதமாக குறைக்கப்படுவதாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

The economic slowdown which has impacted EPFO’s earnings on debt market instruments including government securities and fixed deposits. 

பி.எப்., எனப்படும் தொழிலாளர்களுக்கான வருங்கால வைப்பு நிதிக்கு, எவ்வளவு வட்டி அளிப்பது என்பதை, ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும், சி.பி.டி., எனப்படும், மத்திய அறங்காவலர் வாரியம் நிர்ணயம் செய்யும். கடந்த நிதியாண்டில், வட்டி விகிதம், 8.65 சதவீதமாக நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டது. நடப்பு 2019-20க்கான வட்டிவிகிதத்தை நிர்ணயிக்க, அறங்காவலர் வாரிய குழு டில்லியில் இன்று (மார்ச் 5) கூடியது. இதில், தொழிலாளர் நலத்துறை அமைச்சக அதிகாரிகளும் பங்கேற்றனர்.

EPFO has an investment of over Rs 18 lakh crore of which barely Rs 4,500 crore has been in DHFL and IL&FS. EPFO invests 85% of its annual accruals in debt market and 15% in equities through exchange traded funds. As on March 31, 2019, EPFO has made a cumulative investment of Rs 74,324 crore fetching a return of 14.74%.

EPFO slashes interest rate on deposits to 8.50% for FY20; move to affect 6 crore salaried employees

The EPFO had provided 8.65 per cent rate of interest to its subscribers for 2016-17 and 8.55 per cent in 2017-18. The rate of interest was slightly higher at 8.8 per cent in 2015-16.

It had given 8.75 per cent rate of interest in 2013-14 as well as 2014-15, higher than 8.5 per cent for 2012-13.

பி.எப்.,க்கான வட்டி விகிதத்தை குறைக்கும்படி, அறங்காவலர் வாரிய குழுவும், தொழிலாளர் நலத்துறை அமைச்சகழும், இதனையடுத்து 2019-20 ஆண்டிற்கான வட்டி விகிதம் 8.65 சதவீதத்தில் இருந்து 8.5 சதவீதமாக குறைக்கப்படுவதாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
