கோவையில் ஸ்ரீ கண்ணன் டிபார்ட்மெண்டல் ஸ்டோர்ஸ் என்கிற கடையைத் தான் சுமார் 152.5 கோடி ரூபாயைக் கொடுத்து வாங்கி இருக்கிறாராம். ரிலையன்ஸ் இண்டஸ்ட்ரீஸ்-ன் துணை நிறுவனங்களில் ஒன்றான ரிலையன்ஸ் ரீடெயில் வெஞ்சர் தான் 152.5 கோடி ரூபாயைக் கொடுத்து வாங்கி இருக்கிறது.

ஸ்ரீ கண்ணன் டிபார்ட்மெண்டல் ஸ்டோர்ஸ்-ல் சுமாராக 7.86 லட்சம் பங்குகள் இருக்கிறதாம். நம் தட்டில் லெக் பீஸ் உடன் சுவையான பிரியாணி வைத்தால் எப்படி மிச்சம் வைக்காமல் சாப்பிடுவோமோ அப்படி, அனைத்து பங்குகளையும் வாங்கி 100 % ஓனர் ஆகி இருக்கிறது ரிலையன்ஸ் ரீடெயில் வெஞ்சர்.

companies look towards shifting their production from China, German footwear
brand Casa Everz Gmbh is the latest to shift its entire production from China
to India. Casa Everz Gmbh, the owner of healthy footwear brand Von Wellx, has
decided to set up its production at Agra in Uttar Pradesh in collaboration with
Iatric Industries Pvt Ltd. This comes shortly after Uttar Pradesh Government
held a webinar with international companies in an attempt to persuade them to
invest in the country.
The UP government in a
collaboration with the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum had held a webinar
last month seeking to attract the investors to India. Many companies
participated in the webinar, including Adobe, Boston Scientific Master Cards,
and UPS.
"We are very happy to see
that investment from Casa Everz Gmbh, which will be giving employment to so
many people, is coming to India from China and especially to Uttar
Pradesh," said state Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
(MSMEs) Uday Bahan Singh.

of the latest organizations to join the Facebook-backed digital currency
project Libra.
Facebook introduced its vision for libra
last year as an alternative global digital payment system where a single token
would be backed by multiple currencies.
But the group recently made some changes,
including a shift to issuing multiple so-called stablecoins, after receiving
backlash from regulators.
The
global Facebook-backed digital currency project Libra has a new supporter:
Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings.
Temasek
was one of three organizations named Thursday as the latest members to join the
initiative by the Libra Association, an independent group based in Switzerland
set up to manage the digital currency project. Cryptocurrency investor Paradigm
and private equity firm Slow Ventures were the other two new members.
Facebook
introduced its vision for libra last year as an alternative global digital
payment system where a single token would be backed by multiple fiat
currencies. That was promptly criticized by regulators who worried if the
project went mainstream, it would drastically alter or undermine their roles
and disrupt the financial system, giving Facebook, a company with a history of
privacy scandals, control over their citizens’ resources
A
number of payments companies have pulled out of the project, including Visa,
Mastercard and PayPal. That makes Temasek, which has a portfolio value of 313
billion Singapore dollars (around $219 billion), one of the more prominent
backers of libra. British payments start-up Checkout.com joined the project in
April.
Temasek
“brings a differentiated position as an Asia-focused investor,” the Libra
Association said. Libra recently made some changes, including a shift to
issuing multiple so-called stablecoins, after receiving backlash from
regulators.
“Our
participation in the Libra Association as a member will allow us to contribute
towards a regulated global network for cost effective retail payments,” Chia
Song Hwee, deputy CEO at Temasek, said in a statement. “Many developments in
the space excite us – we look forward to further exploring the potential of the
technology.”

Having juggled school and an entrepreneurial venture, Arjun has a hectic agenda ahead of him. The next few months will see the retail network expand to about 300 – 400 chemists in other states as well, besides the launch of a mobile application to network retail chemists with customers in the vicinity.
Ratan Tata, on Thursday, invested an undisclosed amount in pharmaceutical venture Generic Aadhaar. Founded by Arjun Deshpande, the startup claims to have an annual revenue of Rs 6 crore and is looking at a revenue of Rs 150-200 crore in the next three years.
Generic Aadhaar follows a pharmacy-aggregator business model sourcing generic drugs directly from the manufacturer and providing it to the retailers, thereby cutting out the middlemen completely and delivering medicines to masses at a much lesser cost. It is a B2B2C model that aims at providing Indians with affordable medication by supporting single medical stores across the nation which otherwise face competition from big brands and online pharmacies. Under Generic Aadhaar, the company provides medication directly from WHO-GMP facility and has tied up with 30 retailers from Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Odisha following a profit-sharing model.
Deshpande, said in a statement, “Our mission is to provide senior citizens and pension holders the care they deserve with our idea of delivering inexpensive medicines which are required on a daily basis.”
The larger plan is to spread across 1000 pharmacies in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, New Delhi, Goa and Rajasthan. Generic Aadhaar will provide the support, technology and branding , for example, with its team of 55 employees. And the association with Mr Tata will help the startup “spread its wings” to every city in the country, the company said.

The Reserve Bank of India today suspended operations of CKP Bank and cancelled its licence.
"The financial position of the bank is highly adverse and unsustainable. There is no concrete revival plan or proposal for merger with another bank. Credible commitment towards revival from the management is not visible," the RBI said in a statement.
